Shampoos for an itchy, dry scalp

Dry air, hot water, frequent washing and fragranced products can disturb the scalp surface. Itch can also accompany Dandruff, Folliculitis, Head Lice, Scalp Psoriasis or Seborrheic Dermatitis. Most people with an itchy scalp notice discomfort before the cause is clear, so the symptom does not by itself identify a condition.

Use lukewarm water and place shampoo on the scalp with the fingertips, using light pressure. Rinse until no residue remains, then pat dry.
