How we measured

The numbers come from Zavis production data, read on 19 October 2026, for the 90 days before that date. A conversation counts when a patient sent at least one message in that period. The first reply is the first message from the AI or from a person on the clinic's team after the patient's first message.

After hours means between 8pm and 8am, UAE time. Medians are shown, not averages, because a few slow replies would distort an average. Figures are rounded down. Internal and test accounts are left out.

The clinics are not named. These reports describe what happened at each clinic. They are not a controlled test, so they do not show what would have happened without Zavis, and they make no claim about no-shows or revenue.

Questions clinics ask

Straight answers

How fast does an AI receptionist reply to patients?

At the three clinics in these reports, when the Zavis AI receptionist sent the first reply, the median time was 4 to 5 seconds. That held after hours too: the AI answered first in 95% to 99% of the conversations that started between 8pm and 8am and got a reply.

How many patient messages reach a clinic after hours?

Across 34 clinic accounts on Zavis, 24% of new patient conversations in the 30 days to 19 October 2026 started between 8pm and 8am, UAE time. At one aesthetics clinic the share was 32%.

Why are the clinics not named?

Zavis publishes client names only with the client's written agreement. Until then, reports describe the clinic by type and show rounded figures, with no patient data.

Do these reports show fewer no-shows or more revenue?

No. They show reply speed and after-hours coverage, which the data measures directly. A claim about no-shows or revenue needs a controlled comparison and the clinic's agreement, and these reports have neither.
