Hepatitis A is a viral liver infection. After initial improvement, tiredness, nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine, or general unwellness can return for a time. This does not automatically mean a new infection, but recurring symptoms should be discussed with a clinician because recovery can be uneven and other liver problems can resemble it.

A clinician may review your examination, symptoms, hydration, and liver function test results. Avoid alcohol and check before taking non-prescribed medicines or supplements, since the liver may still be recovering.

Rest when needed, take small frequent drinks, and choose manageable meals if appetite is low.
