What should you know about Hedrin for head lice?

Head lice are small insects that live close to the scalp and cling to hair. Nits are eggs attached to individual hairs; flakes tend to brush away more easily. An itchy scalp or itching that is worse at night can occur, although itching may not appear straight away. Hedrin products work on lice in different ways depending on the formulation, so read the product directions rather than assuming every version is used alike.

Finding live lice is more useful than judging the problem from itching alone. A close inspection with a fine-toothed detection comb can help confirm what is present and whether treatment has worked.
