The image can show changes such as signs that may fit infection, scarring, fluid, or another lung problem. It does not explain every cough or confirm a diagnosis by itself. A reporting clinician considers the image alongside your symptoms, examination, medical history, and the requirements of the receiving authority. Tuberculosis may be one reason for additional screening, while pneumonia or bronchiectasis can also produce findings that need clinical review.

Bring the identification and appointment documents requested by the approved centre, and tell staff if you could be pregnant.
