What should you know about budesonide for asthma?

Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid. It lowers inflammation and sensitivity inside the airways, helping reduce symptoms such as Cough, Wheezing, and Chest Tightness over time. It is a preventer medicine, so it may not give immediate relief during a sudden attack unless your prescribed inhaler plan specifically says otherwise. Asthma symptoms can also be aggravated by Allergic Rhinitis or House Dust Mite Allergy, which may need separate management. The inhaler device and formulation determine how it should be taken.

Use the prescribed dose on the schedule given, even when symptoms are quiet, and ask a pharmacist to check your technique. Do not stop regular treatment suddenly without advice.
