What should you know about Zoloft body aches?

Zoloft is the brand name for sertraline, an antidepressant. New aches may settle as your body adjusts, but a clinician or pharmacist can help judge whether the timing and pattern fit a medicine effect.

Get prompt assessment for trouble breathing, chest pain, fainting, facial or throat swelling, a widespread blistering rash, dark urine, or muscle pain so severe that normal movement is difficult. Contact your prescriber soon if aches persist, worsen, or interfere with sleep and daily activities.

Ask whether the start date and distribution of your pain could relate to sertraline, whether any of your medicines or supplements interact with it, and whether an examination or blood tests are appropriate. Also ask what changes should prompt you to call, and how a dose adjustment would be managed if it is considered.
