What may be happening

The upper inner thighs and nearby folds trap warmth and moisture. Yeast-related irritation may appear as a red, sore or itchy patch, sometimes with a sharper edge or small nearby spots. Friction, sweat, eczema, bacterial infection and reactions to products can produce overlapping changes, so colour and location do not establish a diagnosis.
