Why does shingles cause skin blisters?

Skin Blisters is a very common presentation of Shingles. The rash often appears as clusters of small, clear or cloudy fluid-filled spots on one side of the body. New spots can emerge over several days, then dry and form crusts. Burning, tingling, itching, or tenderness may begin before the rash is visible. The one-sided, band-like pattern reflects the path of the affected nerve rather than a problem spread evenly across the skin.

Keep the area clean and dry, wear loose clothing, and avoid scratching or opening the blisters.
