When to Worry About Whiteheads With Acne

Whiteheads, also called closed comedones, form when oil and dead skin cells block a pore beneath a thin layer of skin. They often feel like small, firm or skin-coloured bumps and may appear on the forehead, cheeks, chin, chest, or back. They are different from pus-filled spots, deep nodules, and cysts, which can need a different treatment approach.
