What should you know about weird headache?

Headache can feel strange because of pressure around the nose, a viral illness, poor fluid intake, heat exposure, muscle tension, sleep disruption or anxiety. A headache is a symptom rather than a diagnosis. Seek emergency help for a sudden explosive headache, weakness on one side, trouble speaking, seizure, confusion, fainting, new vision loss, stiff neck with fever, or a severe headache after a head injury. Arrange prompt assessment for a new persistent pattern, worsening pain, repeated vomiting, high fever, or headache with a widespread rash. Dengue Fever can also cause significant headache with fever and body symptoms, so mention travel or mosquito exposure.
