What should you know about trich test for men?

Men with trichomoniasis may have no symptoms, or may notice irritation inside the penis, burning after urination or ejaculation, or discharge. These signs overlap with other infections, so symptoms cannot confirm the cause. Testing options depend on the clinic, symptoms, and local practice; a clinician may discuss a urine or genital sample.

If a female partner has been diagnosed, assessment is important even when you feel well. Treating partners helps reduce the chance of passing the infection between partners.
