What causes tear trough wrinkles?

The skin around the eyes is thin and folds with smiling, squinting, and blinking. Repeated movement can make expression lines more visible. Sun exposure can weaken skin structure, while dryness makes fine lines catch the light. A hollow or changing cheek support can add a shadow and make nearby wrinkles seem deeper.

Identifying the pattern matters because a treatment that relaxes movement does not replace volume, and a volumising treatment does not repair surface texture.
