Stye from lash extensions: what to know

Lash extensions, adhesive, remover, or rubbing during application can irritate the eyelid and the eye surface. A stye is a tender inflammation near an eyelash or oil gland, but irritation or allergy can look similar. Swelling, itching, burning, watering, redness, or a small painful lump help describe the pattern, but do not confirm its cause.
