What should you know about stretch mark concealer?

A cosmetic concealer uses pigment to blend a stretch mark with surrounding skin. It can be useful for an event or for exposed skin, but it washes or rubs away and cannot flatten an indentation or rebuild deeper fibres. Colour-matching is harder when a mark is newly red, purple, or inflamed. The product should be treated as camouflage, not as a medical treatment.

Patch-test the product on a small area, then apply a thin layer to clean, completely dry, intact skin. Let it set before dressing and remove it gently at the end of the day. Avoid applying over cuts, active eczema, infection, or recently treated skin.
