Stomach microneedling

A device with fine needles passes over prepared skin at a controlled depth. The tiny punctures trigger a healing response and may improve the appearance of selected scars, uneven texture, or stretch-mark-like changes over time. It does not remove loose skin or correct every cause of abdominal texture. A Microneedling Pen may be used; RF Microneedling adds radiofrequency heat and is a different option. Your clinician should review active rash, infection, poor healing, pigment concerns, and medicines that affect bleeding or healing before treatment.

Attend with clean skin and disclose recent tanning, procedures, medicines, pregnancy, and a history of raised scars or cold sores. Follow instructions about pausing irritating creams. Afterward, expect temporary redness, tightness, or sensitivity; use only the recommended gentle cleanser, moisturiser, and sun protection. Avoid picking, vigorous exercise, swimming, and heat exposure until advised that the skin barrier has settled. Improvement is gradual, so take photographs under similar lighting if you want to compare changes.

Contact the clinic if pain, swelling, warmth, redness, or drainage is increasing rather than settling, or if you develop fever or clustered blisters. Seek urgent help for facial swelling, breathing difficulty, or a rapidly spreading reaction. New dark or light patches should be reported early, particularly if you have a history of pigmentation after skin injury.

Ask what change the procedure can realistically target, which needle depth and device are planned, how your pigment risk will be managed, what aftercare is required, and which alternative may fit your goal.
