Small skin tag on face: what to know

Skin tags are soft, flesh-coloured or slightly darker growths that may hang from a narrow base or sit on a short stalk. Friction, skin folds and repeated rubbing can contribute. A mole, wart, sebaceous growth or another lesion can look similar, so appearance alone cannot confirm the diagnosis.
