What should you know about sebaceous cysts on the testicles?

A so-called sebaceous cyst is commonly an epidermoid cyst: a sac of keratin in the skin. On the scrotum, it may feel like a small, round lump in the skin and may have a visible opening. A lump that feels attached to or inside a testicle is different and cannot be safely identified at home.
