Botox is a brand associated with botulinum toxin type A. When people say scalp Botox, they may be referring to injections into selected scalp muscles or skin for a cosmetic or symptom-related purpose; the phrase alone does not identify a standard treatment plan. It is different from treating facial wrinkles, such as crow's feet, and it should not be assumed to treat hair loss or a scalp disease. The intended outcome, evidence for that use, and alternatives need discussion.

Choose a licensed medical professional who can name the product, explain why it is being considered, and map the proposed sites. Share medicines, allergies, neuromuscular conditions, pregnancy plans, and previous injectable reactions. Follow preparation and aftercare instructions, and avoid copying a social-media protocol. Depending on the concern, the clinician may discuss standard botulinum toxin injection or dermal fillers only when appropriate; these are different procedures with different purposes.
