What should you know about sampus melanoma?

Melanoma can begin in pigment-making cells and may appear as a changing mole or a new unevenly coloured mark. A suspicious area is not confirmed by appearance alone; diagnosis usually requires examination and tissue testing. A melanoma diagnosis does not by itself mean that spread has occurred.

Arrange assessment for a changing, bleeding, crusting, itching, or clearly different pigmented lesion.
