The handpiece places fine needles at a planned depth, then delivers radiofrequency energy beneath the surface. This pairing can target texture and selected scars while limiting energy at the top layer compared with some resurfacing approaches. The exact depth and energy are adjusted for the area, skin type, and treatment goal.

Short-term redness, swelling, pinpoint marks, warmth, or tenderness can occur. The skin response develops gradually as healing and remodelling take place. RF Genius is not a universal answer for every mark: active infection, uncontrolled inflammation, certain pigment concerns, or a tendency to form raised scars may change the plan.

Tell the clinician about active acne or rash, cold sores, medicines, pregnancy, recent tanning, pigment changes, and a history of unusual scarring. Use only the recommended products after treatment, avoid picking or scrubbing, and protect the area from sunlight. Keep the surface cool and clean as instructed, and wait for clinical advice before restarting irritating ingredients.

Call the clinic if pain, redness, swelling, or heat is increasing, or if you develop blisters, pus, marked colour change, or persistent numbness. Fever or rapidly spreading redness warrants prompt assessment. A worsening flare of Melasma also deserves review because inflammation can affect pigmentation.
