A microdermabrasion handpiece moves across cleansed skin and uses abrasion with suction to remove loosened surface cells. The session is adjusted to the area and your tolerance. It may make roughness or superficial congestion less noticeable, but it cannot replace treatment for active inflammatory acne, infection, eczema, or deep scarring. Skin can look pink, feel tight, or become dry for a short period after the procedure.
