How psoriasis is treated

Arrange review if plaques keep returning, spread, crack, bleed, or affect sleep or movement. Painful swollen joints, persistent morning stiffness, or finger and toe swelling can need assessment for psoriatic arthritis. Seek urgent help for rapidly widespread red skin, severe pain, fever, or feeling very unwell.
