What a breast-skin spot may be

Breast skin has pores, sweat glands, and hair follicles, so acne or folliculitis can occur there. Friction, sweat, tight clothing, and hormonal shifts may influence breakouts. Bumps on the areola can involve normal glands and should not be squeezed. A superficial spot differs from a deeper breast lump. Nipple changes, discharge, dimpling, persistent redness, or a firm area need clinical assessment.

Gentle care

Wash gently, keep the skin dry after sweating, and choose breathable clothing that does not rub. Avoid squeezing, picking, harsh exfoliants, and strong acne products on the nipple or areola unless advised. Note changes with cycles, friction, or new products.
