Pimples Around the Mouth: What to Know

Acne may cause blackheads, whiteheads, or tender spots on nearby skin. Small, fairly uniform bumps with dryness or burning around the mouth can fit perioral dermatitis. Arrange a medical assessment if the rash spreads, burns, crusts, keeps returning, or does not settle with gentle care.
