What should you know about mild right hydrosalpinx?

A fallopian tube normally helps carry an egg from the ovary toward the womb. Scarring or blockage can trap fluid inside it, creating a hydrosalpinx. The word mild describes the appearance or extent seen on an ultrasound or other scan; it does not by itself predict pain or fertility.

Some people have no symptoms. Others notice one-sided pelvic discomfort, pain during sex, unusual discharge, or difficulty becoming pregnant.
