Headache with watery eyes and fatigue

Itchy eyes, sneezing and a clear runny nose can occur with Allergic Rhinitis. Congestion or facial pressure may accompany Chronic Sinusitis or a Common Cold. Fever, sore throat, cough, body aches or a change in smell can occur with COVID-19, while Dengue Fever can cause fever, marked tiredness and significant aches. Watery eyes with light sensitivity may occur during migraine, and screen work or uncorrected vision can cause eye strain. Dehydration and Heat Exhaustion are more likely considerations after sweating, outdoor heat or reduced fluid intake. These patterns can overlap, so one symptom does not settle the cause.

Rest in a cool, comfortable room and reduce bright light or screen exposure. Drink fluids gradually and eat if you have skipped food. Wash hands, avoid rubbing the eyes, and consider a clean cool compress for irritation. Note fever, nasal symptoms, eye pain, vision changes, cough, rash, vomiting, recent heat exposure and possible infectious contacts. Avoid sharing towels if eye discharge develops. Ask a pharmacist which symptom treatments are suitable, particularly if you have other conditions, take medicines or may have an infection.

Get emergency help for sudden severe headache, confusion, fainting, weakness, speech trouble, seizure, severe neck stiffness or a new loss of vision. Seek urgent assessment for severe eye pain, a red eye with vision change, repeated vomiting, severe headache with fever, or worsening symptoms after heat exposure. Arrange a clinician review if fatigue persists, eye watering keeps recurring, symptoms interfere with daily life, or the headache is new or changing.
