Headache due to gas

Short answer
Gas does not specifically explain every headache, so headache with bloating or belching should be considered alongside other possible triggers.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

Separating gas from headache triggers
Intestinal gas can cause bloating, abdominal pressure, rumbling and relief after passing wind or belching. Headache at the same time may result from missed meals, dehydration, poor sleep, stress or a food that triggers both digestive discomfort and headache. Constipation can trap gas and add abdominal pressure. A blocked nose, infection or heat exposure may explain a headache more directly than gas. The timing of meals, bowel movements and pain is useful when looking for a pattern.
Ways to ease discomfort
Eat slowly, chew thoroughly and take a gentle walk if you feel able. Keep a short food and symptom diary, and notice whether fizzy drinks, chewing gum, large meals or particular foods worsen bloating. Drink fluids and address constipation with gradual fibre changes if appropriate. A pharmacist can advise whether an over-the-counter gas remedy or pain reliever is suitable with your medicines and health conditions.
When to seek care
Seek emergency help for a sudden severe headache, new weakness, confusion, fainting, chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, a rigid swollen abdomen or repeated vomiting. Arrange a clinical review for persistent bloating, blood in stool, unexplained weight loss, ongoing bowel change, recurrent headaches or pain that is becoming more frequent.
Questions for your doctor
Could constipation, food intolerance, reflux or another condition explain my digestive symptoms? Is the headache pattern consistent with a separate headache disorder? Which treatments are safe for me?
