A skin rash is not a typical feature of giardiasis. Giardiasis mainly affects the digestive system and commonly causes diarrhoea, gas, bloating, nausea or abdominal cramping. A rash may have another cause, occur alongside a separate illness, or reflect a reaction to a medicine, so it needs its own assessment rather than being attributed automatically to Giardia.
