What should you know about a flaky bald scalp?

Wash gently with lukewarm water and avoid scratching, picking, tight hairstyles, harsh dyes, and fragranced products while the scalp is unsettled. Do not share combs, brushes, hats, towels, or pillow coverings if an infection is possible. Note whether the scale is dry or greasy, whether hairs are breaking, and whether the bald area is spreading.
