Fatigue and headache: possible causes

A headache and low energy can appear together when you have not had enough fluids or food, are recovering from a viral illness, or have been exposed to heat. Get emergency help for a sudden severe headache, confusion, fainting, weakness on one side, trouble speaking, seizure, stiff neck with fever, or repeated vomiting. Seek urgent assessment after significant heat exposure with confusion or collapse. Arrange review when headaches recur, worsen, or do not improve, or when dengue fever is possible because of fever, severe body aches, or rash.
