What should you know about eye thread lift?

A clinician uses a needle or cannula to position threads beneath the skin around an agreed treatment area. The threads can give a subtle lifting effect and may stimulate local collagen production as they break down. Contact the practitioner promptly for increasing redness, heat, swelling, drainage, fever, worsening pain, or a thread that becomes exposed. Seek urgent care for severe eye pain, vision change, inability to open or close the eye, rapidly worsening swelling, or breathing difficulty.

Ask whether the concern is skin laxity, brow position, or an eyelid condition; what improvement is realistic; and how long swelling may last. Compare thread lift with HIFU skin lifting or facelift when appropriate, and ask who will manage a misplaced, exposed, or infected thread.
