What should you know about dissolving Radiesse?

Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite particles in a gel carrier and can also stimulate collagen. Its material behaves differently from hyaluronic acid, so an injection intended to dissolve hyaluronic acid filler is not a standard reversal for Radiesse. A visible lump, firmness, asymmetry, or unwanted fullness may have more than one explanation, including swelling, placement, inflammation, or a nodule.

Arrange an in-person review with the injector or a dermatologist experienced with filler complications. Bring the product name, treatment date, treated areas, and any photographs or treatment record. Depending on the examination, observation, supportive care, targeted treatment, or a procedure to reduce material may be discussed. Do not massage a firm area forcefully or inject another product to camouflage it without medical advice.

Seek urgent medical assessment for worsening pain, marked skin colour change, increasing warmth or redness, drainage, fever, or rapidly growing swelling. Changes in vision, severe headache, facial weakness, or trouble speaking after an injection require emergency care.
