A dermaroller uses fine needles to make controlled micro-injuries across the affected skin. The healing response can encourage collagen and support smoother texture. It does not erase stretch marks or restore skin to its former appearance. Newer reddish or purplish marks and older pale marks can behave differently, so the treatment plan depends on their age, depth, location, skin tone, and whether the skin is irritated.
