A dengue antigen test looks for a part of the virus, while an antibody test looks for the immune response to infection. A full blood count is different: it measures blood cells and can help a clinician monitor changes during an illness, but it does not by itself prove dengue. The most suitable test depends on when symptoms started and the assessment at the time. Results require clinical interpretation.

Tell your GP when the fever or other symptoms began, where you have travelled, and whether you have had mosquito exposure. Ask whether dengue-specific testing, a full blood count, or repeat assessment is appropriate. Drink fluids and rest while unwell.
