Deep dyspareunia meaning explained

Dyspareunia is a clinical word for pain related to sexual penetration. The word deep describes where the pain is felt: inside the pelvis or lower abdomen. It may be a dull ache, pressure, cramp, or sudden pain, and it may continue briefly after sex. The label describes a symptom; it does not name a single diagnosis.
