What should you know about dark red in urine?

Urine becomes more concentrated when the body loses fluid through heat, sweating, vomiting, or diarrhea. Red or brown urine can also contain blood from the kidneys, bladder, or urinary passage. Burning, frequent urination, a one-sided ache, or clots may provide useful clues, but bleeding can occur without discomfort.
