Contact a clinician promptly for severe or worsening pelvic pain, fever, unusual or unpleasant-smelling discharge, pain during sex, very heavy bleeding, a positive pregnancy test, or threads that feel shorter, longer or missing. Sudden pain with dizziness or faintness needs emergency assessment. Do not try to push the device back into place.
