Cloudy urine after eating meat: what to know

A meat-heavy meal may be accompanied by less fluid, more salt, or a change in the amount of waste the kidneys remove. Those factors can make urine appear hazy without proving that meat caused a disease. Cloudiness can also come from crystals, mucus, or discharge mixing with the sample.
