What should you know about chest freckles?

Freckles, also called ephelides, form when pigment production becomes more visible in small areas of skin. The chest often receives incidental sun exposure through clothing gaps, outdoor activity, and driving. Freckles may look darker after sunny periods and less noticeable when ultraviolet exposure is lower.
