Cherry angioma on the back: what to know

Cherry angiomas are also called red moles or Campbell de Morgan spots. They can be bright red, deep red, or purplish and may be flat or slightly raised. A spot on the back can be hard to monitor because you cannot easily see it yourself. Its appearance alone cannot confirm the diagnosis, especially if it is unusually dark, irregular, or different from your other spots.
