Do not start, stop, restart, or adjust isotretinoin without the prescribing clinician. Keep follow-up appointments so side effects, skin response, and any required blood tests can be reviewed. Severe headache with vision changes, marked mood changes, severe abdominal pain, or an allergic reaction needs prompt medical attention.
