What is the difference between Specialist and Consultant for General Dentist?
Both are licence titles under the unified UAE Professional Qualification Requirements (PQR), which DHA applies in Dubai. A Specialist holds a recognised specialty qualification. A Consultant needs 2 years of experience after a Tier 1 qualification or 5 years after Tier 2, and a Tier 3 qualification cannot lead to the Consultant title.
