A possible Zika eruption may involve the torso and limbs and can be flat, slightly raised, itchy, or not itchy. Other symptoms may include a mild fever, red eyes without discharge, headache, muscle aches, and joint pain. These features overlap with many other illnesses, so a rash does not establish Zika by itself. Contact Dermatitis, Drug Rash, Heat Rash, Atopic Dermatitis, Intertrigo, Psoriasis, Ringworm, and Scabies can also produce visible skin changes.
