Hydradermabrasion combines a wet exfoliating tip with suction and topical solutions. A provider may adjust the tip, suction, and products for oiliness, congestion, dryness, or dull-looking skin. The treatment works mainly at the surface and may temporarily leave skin looking smoother and brighter; it is not a replacement for diagnosis or treatment of a skin disease.

The device name does not by itself describe the provider's training, hygiene process, or the products used. Ask whether the tips are single-use or disinfected according to clinical protocol, and whether the solution is suitable for your skin and any active medicines.

Tell the provider about sensitive skin, eczema, rosacea, acne flares, cold sores, allergies, recent peels or laser treatment, and products that make you more sun-sensitive. Delay treatment over broken, infected, or severely inflamed skin unless a clinician advises otherwise. Arrive without heavy makeup if the clinic requests it.

Afterward, mild redness, tightness, tingling, or sensitivity can occur. Use the recommended gentle cleanser, moisturiser, and sun protection, and avoid adding strong exfoliants or irritants until your skin has settled. Ask when to resume retinoids, acids, waxing, or other procedures.

Contact the provider if redness worsens, pain becomes significant, swelling persists, or blisters, drainage, or crusting develop. Seek urgent care for facial swelling with breathing difficulty, widespread hives, or eye pain or vision change. A flare that does not settle may need assessment for irritation, allergy, infection, or another skin condition.

Ask which solutions and device settings will be used, how the equipment is cleaned, whether your current skincare makes treatment unsuitable, and what result is realistic for your concern. Ask who will manage a reaction and when another procedure can safely be considered.
