Yeast Rash on the Inner Thigh: What to Know

Inner-thigh skin is exposed to repeated contact during walking, exercise, and hot weather. Moisture held against the skin may leave a red, sore, shiny, or peeling area. Yeast can affect the fold, but ringworm, contact dermatitis, heat rash, psoriasis, and simple friction can look alike. Do not combine several medicated creams without advice, and avoid steroid cream alone on a suspected fungal rash.
