What should you know about wrist tattoo removal?

A laser delivers brief pulses that target tattoo pigment while the surrounding skin is protected as much as possible. The body then clears fragmented pigment over time, so treatment is spaced out to allow the skin to settle. Wrist tattoos can be affected by limited tissue, frequent movement and exposure to sunlight.

Ink colour, density, age, layering and depth all affect how the tattoo responds. A darker or simpler design may behave differently from a multicoloured or previously treated tattoo. The treated area can look red, swollen or temporarily blistered after a session.
