White itchy skin on groin: possible explanations

Skin can look pale when it is dry, scaly, softened by sweat, or lighter after a previous rash. Itch may accompany eczema, contact irritation, psoriasis, lichen planus, hives, scabies, or a yeast infection. Asteatotic eczema is linked with dryness, while yeast often favors warm, moist folds.
