How responsibilities are shared

The orthopaedic, sports medicine or other clinician who requested the MRI connects the findings with your examination and symptoms.

Preparing for the appointment

Follow instructions about food, drink or contrast if provided. During the scan, keeping still and using the call button if you feel unwell helps the team obtain useful images.
