Which specialist performs falls prevention programme?

Short answer
A physiotherapist performs a falls prevention programme by assessing balance, strength, walking and risks in daily activities.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

What the programme includes
The physiotherapist observes walking, transfers, turning, balance and lower-limb control. They may recommend exercises for strength, coordination and steadiness, then practise safer ways to rise from a chair, use stairs or move around obstacles. The assessment can also consider footwear, walking aids, vision concerns and hazards at home.
A doctor, occupational therapist, pharmacist or vision professional may contribute when medicines, dizziness, equipment or sight affect fall risk. The plan should match your abilities and the activities that matter to you.
How to get ready
Bring a list of medicines, glasses, walking aids and details of any recent fall or near-fall. Wear supportive footwear and comfortable clothing. Describe when unsteadiness occurs, including after standing, in darkness, on stairs or when turning.
Practise only the exercises and balance tasks that have been assessed for you. Use the support recommended by the physiotherapist, and ask someone to be nearby for tasks that challenge your balance.
When a fall needs urgent assessment
After a fall, seek urgent care for severe pain, an obvious deformity, inability to stand or bear weight, head injury with confusion or repeated vomiting, loss of consciousness, new weakness, or sudden trouble speaking. Promptly report repeated falls, fainting, new dizziness or a sudden change in walking.
Questions to ask
Ask what may be contributing to your falls, which exercises are safe without supervision, whether your medicines or vision need review, and how your home setup can be made easier to navigate.
